Patchwork Angels – Springy Soozie

This week I will be featuring some of the patchwork angels my mom has been working on – she loves creating interesting things from wood, as well as painting and I thought I would share her works with you as she has no time to create a blog of her own.

Today’s Angel : Springy Soozie ❤

She is made of a wood called supawood and cut with a scroll saw. She is hand painted to look unique. Each angel is made with love and extra attention! ❤ Not all the angels have wings, but they can be added on.

Fabric is used to create a pocket on the front of her dress to hold her flowers. Each flower is then fixed to the pocket with a piece of wire and some glue.

Silk ribbons are used for the ribbons on her shoes 🙂
